Write to Susan Stroh

Words can serve many purposes. They can be priceless or sorely wasted. I am happiest when I can help people who want, through their writing, to move people to a better place. They may intend to enlighten, educate or entertain but they always want to matter, to make a difference in a positive way.

I had a writing teacher once who told his students "Don't write anything of any length unless you think it will change your life. That way, if it doesn't sell, at least you've changed your life!"

I would add, don't write anything unless you think it will benefit the reader.
